The implication is obvious, but often neglected --
To do better tomorrow, do a bit better today.
Too often people obsess and feel bad if they're off the mark.
But momentum can be easily built. You just start stringing small gains together, and all of sudden the tiny snowball rolling downhill has turned into an avalanche.
If you don't like your performance, improve it very very slightly today, and very very slightly more tomorrow, and in no time you'll be flying. Radical change is good when you can get it, but frequently unnecessary.
