So, the "no sleep" thing is not a recipe for success. Day Eight's target:
Day considered started: 9:50AM (no sleep)
Slept around 8:20PM. Didn't track.
The day wasn't an entire waste, I had a bunch of errands, phonecalls, things like that. But none of the really high level stuff.
Day 9:
It's already the next day, but time to set some objectives:
1. The sales call first (already over right now, while I'm doing planning).
2. Weekly reviewThen, wrote on blog / weekly update.
Today:
*Look at Gitomer Sales Course, do week 1
*GGW business plan
*PSB / new visa
*Do another planning sessionNeed to stop by the PSB, get materials together, and renew visa.
Late afternoon-ish meeting.
Today must's: client calls at 11:30PM and 3:30AM… going to be tired at 3:30AM, will sleep immediately after.
And results --
Awake: 5AM (8.5 hours)
5:20AM: Client asked to delay sales call. (20 general-life)
6:50AM: (90 sales)
8:20AM: (30 general-life, 30 relaxing, 30 distraction)
Starting to plan.
8:50AM: Starting good planning, got distracted. (15 planning, 15 distraction)
10:20AM: Good blogging, some maintenance, some planning. (30 planning, 30 blogging, 30 maintenance)
11AM: (20 distraction, 20 general-life)
---------
Right now -- pack up computer, shower/shave, quick food, head to police station and PSB for new visa probably.
---------
Registration, visa renewl, some client work mixed with sleep. Got to office at 8PM. Mixed with working and client calls, slept 3 hours, then 4 hours at various times, maybe two hours of client calls, and an hour or two of trying to improve quality while cutting time.
Verdict -- been doing a bunch of general runaround nonsense (registering, visa renewel, paying bills), had some client service time, and phonecalls/meetings. Day 10 goes similarly, which puts me a bit behind the 8-ball for this week. I'm going to rest up on Saturday a bit, and put a strong push in on Sunday/Monday/Tuesday... I guess weeks like this are necessary, there's a million moving pieces right now and I'm consolidating them, though it's a bit annoying to not be putting time into the top objectives.
