I got a lot more applications than I expected. I was originally thinking I'd like 5-6 qualified people, and I'd take one person onboard. I'm over 50 applications now, so I need to think about how to do this efficiently.
The biggest pleasant surprise is the immense talent level and general action orientation among people - there's lots of good people here. I'm almost certainly going to take more than one, but I've got to think how to structure it. Interestingly, a top finance guy I know who is very good at finding money for projects applied, so I'm thinking... well, stay tuned, I'll get some info and announcements up quickly, and get in touch with everyone ASAP.
